Belkalhan owns the land where the reserves were confirmed, and has obtained the necessary licences to begin mining operations. The quality and availability of the material make this a unique production site in Europe. All permits for exploitation are secured. New exploration drills are expected to confirm larger deposits of calcite and graphite, with actual potential for prospect location surface area expansion.
The Company is looking for partners willing to finance the start up of mining and processing of the calcium carbonate and graphite. Given the purity and whiteness of the calcite deposits, calcium carbonate could be sold to numerous end markets such as cosmetics, food, pharmaceuticals and many more. Graphite quality confirmed reserves and in mine access enables cost benefit exploitation. Nearby processing plant location and complete infrastructure secured makes the whole project highly potential.
